Ray estimation of air-located source generated hydroacoustics field range losses in shallow water for different reciever depth.

The hydroacoustics fields from air-located and water-located sources equal power are compared in this paper. The main method of investigation of air-located source field is an imagin recievers method. The range-dependent signal level is obtained for both types of source and different reciever depth and the results are compared. Numerical experiment demostrates average difference between air-source and water-source fields and confirms theoretical results of average range losses for different types of source and different reciever depth.
